We kicked off Homecoming week on Monday, October 3rd, with a picnic lunch from 11:30-1:00pm and a balloon launch on the East side of the courthouse. A Bake Sale to benefit the Bread of Life Food Pantry was also held that day.

On Wednesday, October 5th from 5:00-6:00pm, the Chamber hosted a Business After Hours Pep Rally at the Food Giant parking lot. We met with some of the HHS football players, and cheerleaders to show the community our team spirit.

Thursday, October 6th, some folks from the Senior Activities Center helped us by judging the Paint the Town Orange decorating contest. We had so many creativie entries! Thank you to everyone who decorated. Thursday night the Jr. Hornets played the Corning Bobcats.

Friday, October 7th, was the Homecoming parade and pep assembly at the Courthouse. The winners of the decorating contest were anounced on the Courthouse steps.Friday night there were several Alumni Reunions in TAILGATE CITY and then the Homecoming ceremonies and of course the game. Congratulations to the Hornets. They beat the Piggott Mohawks 34-20!
